An easy chocolate fix.
1:37 PMi am so happy it is all wintery and cold outside because it is finally beneficial to have the oven on.
does any one else's building not put the heat on on the coldest nights of the year but they crank up the heat when it's 50 degrees out?
This winter aside from making sweet potato fries and spaghetti squash these cookies have been my favorite thing to bake.
It is a really basic chocolate cookie recipe but I find it's easy to modify and make your own
preheat the oven to 350 degrees
you will need //
1 egg (or egg substitute, like ground flax seed and water)
1 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter or whatever oil you have.

I used olive oil and it was fine coconut oil would be so good.
1/2 tsp baking soda
and a pinch of salt
{ maybe a splash of vanilla? i forgot to add it but it came out fine }
what to do //
1. mix up the wet, mix up the dry, then combine.
2. lick all the spoons. Unless you have something against raw eggs.
3. roll the dough into small balls then bake for eight minutes
bonus step * sprinkle the cookies with some sea salt while they were cooling
thats it, super easy and satisfying chocolate cookies.
